All category judging will be carried out online between Monday February 12 and Monday February 26, 2024. There will be no physical judging or exhibition in 2024.
2023 Judges will receive a 2023 Shop! ANZ Awards judge badge for use in their email signature, as well as acknowledgement in Shop! ANZ Awards materials and on the Shop! ANZ website.
More than 70 senior industry representatives judge the Shop! ANZ Awards each year. While judges must be a Shop! ANZ Member, Shop! does reserve the right to use a non-member as a judge to balance the judging teams as needed.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in retail marketing. For the judging process, judges are divided into teams with representation from all areas of the industry, including retailer, brand, POP, agency, and shopper insights.
The groups will be assigned to categories that do not conflict with their companies’ primary areas of business or with any entry assigned to them. No judge can judge a category their company is entered in. Current Shop! Board Members are not permitted to judge.
Key dates:
Online Judging Commences: Monday 12 February to Monday 26 February
Online People's Choice online judging: 27 February to 10 March 2024
Online Pinnacle judging: 27 February to 5 March 2024
Following your registration, Shop! will be in contact in the second week of February 2024 to confirm your selection and with further information, including your allocated category, judging criteria, and deadlines.
