POPAI Awards open soon!

Entries for POPAI's 2017 Marketing @ Retail Awards open on Monday, April 10.

So what do you need to know about the Awards and how to enter? In 2017, we'll have 33 Awards across four categories including physical store, shopper experience, individual, and Pinnacle & Special Awards.

A major change to the 2017 Awards is that entrants are no longer required to submit a physical entry in order to be eligible. Instead, all Award entries and judging will be completed online only, in an effort to lower costs for entrants and allow the Awards to become more inclusive of businesses outside of Sydney, where the Award entries were previously required to be showcased.

This change means that entries will require high quality images and videos to be submitted for judging. Judging opportunities are available for members, with expressions of interest also to be taken from April 10.

The People's Choice Award, voted on by the public, will take place again in 2017, however, as with judging, votes will be carried out online in September - with submissions able to be viewed online by members and the public ahead of voting.

The annual Awards presentation and Gala Dinner will take place on October 12 at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, with tickets to go on sale from April 10, 2017.

More information on entering the Awards will follow in the weeks leading up to April 10, with full entry guidelines available to entrants from April 10.
