Campari Group announces change to Managing Director APAC

MEDIA RELEASE

DECEMBER 2, 2019

Following the recent decision by the Campari Group to relocate its APAC regional headquarters from Sydney to Singapore in 2020, the Campari Group today announced the resignation of Mr Franco Peroni as Managing Director APAC.

Mr Peroni has chosen not to relocate to Singapore and will depart the business effective 3 July, 2020. Mr Peroni has been with the Campari Group for over 15 years, first joining in 2004 as Managing Director Italy. In 2009, he led the Global Product Supply Chain organisation before moving to Sydney to take up his current role, Managing Director APAC, in 2013.

During his tenure, Mr Peroni has contributed strongly to the development of the Campari Group and most recently has reset the agenda for growth across the APAC region. Mr Peroni will hand over his current responsibilities to Mr Matteo Fantacchiotti, who will join the Campari Group as Managing Director APAC, based in Singapore, on 20 January 2020. Mr Fantachhiotti brings over 20 years of international experience in the beverage industry, most recently with Carlsberg as Commercial Vice President for Asia, based in Hong Kong.

Mr Fantacchiotti, together with the APAC team, will be well positioned to drive the Campari growth agenda across the APAC region. The Campari Group remains committed to its Australian & New Zealand business, with no change to its corporate presence in both Sydney and Auckland.

ENDS.
